I have had the pleasure of working with Brittany in the Saatchi creative department for the last couple years. Brittany started out in the Sydney design team and was an integral part of that offering. Last year, she took the leap and completed Award school. Since completing the course, she's been the first person to put her hand up for briefs and has done a great job when given the opportunity on any and all creative tasks. She is naturally very collaborative, and can work with any level of creative - senior to junior. I've been most impressed watching her develop her folio and keep pushing to make sure it's a true indication of her talent. Above all else, it's the tenacity and work ethic which make Brittany a class act.

When I initially met Brittany, I remember being struck by how wide-eyed yet wise she was. Her restlessness to not only be a great designer but a great creative and the assuredness of her trajectory immediately impressed me.

I believe creatives should have a healthy chemistry of passion and paranoia. Brittany has both. A bottomless hunger to make great work and the humility to welcome criticism knowing that it will make the idea and her better, is a rare blend. Brittany’s currently on the cusp of making great creative for our client and seeing her in a room selling her ideas, challenging opinions from people who’ve been in the game longer than she’s been on the planet, is a credit to how far she’s come.

There are three things that make an unstoppable creative: talent, hard work and likability. Most creatives only have two. If you have all three, you're a rare, magical unicorn. Britt is a rare, magical unicorn. And she's going places.

Brittany is a Designer at Saatchi and has been for a few years now...but she is far more than that. She has amazing creative ideas as well as leadership beyond her years and a hunger to do great things in the world.

Hopefully I will hire her again one day.

As a young designer, Brittany has an eye and a mastery of her craft that is beyond her years. She is quite simply an awesome designer that adds value creatively and commercially well beyond her years of experience. And in the high-pressure nature that is this big client briefs or new business pitches, she handles herself with calm and steely resolve, no matter what craziness is going on around her.

Beyond her function duties, Brittany has a huge impact on the agency. She has mentioned that she has developed a successful podcast (with another agency staffer) called “Beyond the Title”. It’s a great insight into the people who work in the industry and how they do what they do, add value and whatever side-hustles they have. It’s well done, fun and a great tonic to help people who work in advertising. And it’s a great example of the things Brittany does to inject her bubbly and bright light into the lives of everyone she works with. She is supportive, kind, determined and a joy to have around the office. Her good humour and positive demeanour are infectious. And I have seen her cope with adversity, and she has never let that break her stride or the way she is.

All of the above might sound a tad ethereal, but in a people business, having people that support and add to the culture of an organisation are worth their weight in gold. And Brittany is certainly someone that we all value and enjoy working with enormously. They fact she is so young only makes her contribution all the more impressive.
